how do you guys feel about a regular wrx in the new bodystyle?
were there any changes from the last one or is it the same motor/tranny/susp./etc...?
i can't safely afford an sti or an evo, so i figure a wrx might be my next best option...

The reason I didn't get a wrx, is because there was no way I could wear a helmet in one with a sunroof. My EVO has a sunroof and plenty of room for a big ass helmet. Other than that, yeah same old wrx. Man those things seem slow to me now though. The steering feels sluggish and the suspension is weak. I would definitely swap in some sti springs and steering rack. If you are on a budget, look for the new EVO rs coming in January.

I guess the best way to describe it would be to say I intended to get a WRX instead of the STi, but after driving it, I felt that a standard WRX would not be adaquate...
not at all an upgrade or even an even trade from an ITR
