Default Painting brakes

i bought my car with its calipers painted. but the idiot sucked at painting the caliper and the paint is peeling off, so i've decided to re-paint the calipers. does anyone know any good ways to get the old caliper paint off?

don't use duct tape. Its to tough/think and will leave a sticky nasty residue on the brakes. Just use 3M masking tape.

duct tape doesnt allow for the stripper to go through. Masking tape does (if for some reason he left it on too long). I work at a body shop and we use the stuff all the time. It's a lot easy to clean a little residue than it is to replace chewed up hoses.

ohhhh okay.... I thought you ment to use duct tape to mask something off. In which that would be stupid. I didn't relize it was to protect shit from the stipper.
