out of state signover title question
okay. well i have a question about signing over out-of-state titles to a new owner.
we're from NC and trading cars with someone in VA. i know that in NC all you have to do is get the title notarized and a bill of sale. im guessing you would need to do that to the VA title too?

Re: out of state signover title question
no, VA does not require a notary. the NC title should suffice with the VA DMV as long as the mileage disclosure is done correctly, and the reappointment of title area is completed in full.

I don't remember having to do anything out of the ordinary a few years ago when I bought my WRX in Maryland..
