Ya, your injector doesn't have to overcome 18#'s of boost either, which definitely helps.

Also, not everybody can be mega blown KB cool, but you can!

Actually... a retired engineer on the Corvetteforum took a whipple 3.3 and re-engineerred the under blower intercooler so the whole assembly can fit under a hood ment for a maggie... they're far better looking than the KB hood. It's an amazing bit of work... he has a freaking lathe etc in his garage. Whipple has contacted him and he's patenting his mods

My car hated to idle aswell. 800 rpms and the car would cut off.

It wouldn't die down either, I'd have to blip it.

If I cut the car on with AC, it'd shut off.

Couldn't part throttle it around 1.5rpms or it'd stall.

I kinda hated it, then I gagged it and fell in love.

No. 411/390. FTR, my car has been quoted as being a H/C car but the heads are just stock 243 castings that have been shaved to bump up compression. Almost the same exact set up as KONG except mine has forged pistons and rods and is a newly rebuilt engine.

What cam are you running? I can't remember Kong's name... is he happy w/ his car? Haven't seen him at Bass Pro in a bit.
