From what I can read on evom... the only difference is interior and exterior stuff... BBS wheels, navigation..etc...etc..

From what I've read the Evo X has been dumbed down for the general public. I mean yes, it's pretty much as fast, and has some cool electronic stuff to make it easier to drive fast, but it's not as much of a drivers car. From the tests i've read, the Evo X was easier to drive around the track fast, but a good driver is able to get more out of an Evo IX. I'm also a fan of the 4G63, it's a classic engine. In my opinion, it deserves to be right up there in history with the old big block V8s and stuff from the 60s. I also prefer the looks of the older Evos to the new one. I mean, the new one looks pretty good, but I like the older one's better. If I were to get one it would be a second car, a toy car to play around with, and I'd rather have the "classic" Evo. Besides, people will be wanting to upgrade to the Evo X, so the older ones will be cheaper to buy.
Don't worry about it, you have every right to ask

A loaded Lancer GTS tops out around $22K, and the cheapest Evolution X GSR starts north of $33K. This leaves a big opening for the 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart.

It\'d be curious as to see what can swap over to what DSM to Evo X/Ralliart. Obviously once they come out with a T4 manifold I could put the 35R on it, Tial stuff etc. But I am wondering about the injectors. I can\'t forsee Mitsu changing the impedence, that\'d be weird.
