i actually like jimmy's idea of the suspension beast. for some go, just boost the d series. swapping a (vtec)b series is expensive....ls's and b20's are relatively cheap i hear.

get a full tein suspension haha.

 

at least drop it with some koni yellows with ground control coilovers, get custom spring rates. get 15" lightweight rims(like rotas) on azenis. A nice little system since it's your beater so you can enjoy music while driving. get sway bars, do a brake swap from a civic SI.
do a B or H series swap. then go with it from there

 

yep.. it'll be cheaper to boost the D series since you won't have to buy a new engine. you should do some internal work to the D series if you plan to boost it though.

I know my suspension setup isn't that great, but it should be pretty decent by the end of this summer. So derrick, once you get off restriction or whatever you want to call it, i'll let you drive my car around a twisty road or something as long as you don't try to test the limits of it

 

If youre gonna do some suspension shit, get a COOL car thats only point is to turn.. a damn miata, Triumph, MG, fiero.. etc.. something tiny/light and RWD!

 

you need something you won't modify. Get a neon or something like that. You can pick up a decent one for $1000 or a little more. Get something with decent gas milage that you can work on.

I seriously think your going to kick yourself later when youve got 2-3 modified fwd 4cyls.. Throw SOMETHING different into it.. mid engine, RWD, 6cyl, 3cyl, 8cyl, convertible..something..what a boring garage
