you got a lemon, thats all. Your the first person I've heard of thats having and oil consumption problem with modular motor. Sell the car and get a 4V.

I don't get how a car could run at all w/ no oil in it... I mean if he put 5.5 quarts in there then it was empty. Those motors don't have oil consumption problems either. I mean could the oil filter have blown off? This just doesn't add up...

 

can you get it to one of them quick lube places? i would have them change the oil in it and then let the engine explode about a mile down the road...I used to work at one of them and we had 2 guys pull that crap on us. They have insurance so they usually won't fight it

And thats a big fuck you, in our shop we have to pay for the $500 deductible. Please dont do that, God will hate you.

Check the oil filter, sometimes when you take the old one off, the gasket might stick on the block and not come off with the filter. Then when you put the new filter on, bam, double gaskets. I've seen oil blow out quicker than hell when that happens, and it will drain every little bit.
