HA

Cheaper than a rebuild, 32valve.. :\ ya right

03-04 Cobra 32 valves are fully forged

96-02 Cobras are all aluminum, forged crank

90% of the 03 Cobra motors I see come complete w/blower attached

here's an example, ignore the price, I'll guarantee you it'll sell for around 9k

Could've been a couple things, did he over-rev while racing, how many miles on the car, cap on bottom is a pita, could've come undone. Good luck with the rebuild.

He has never noticed a loss of oil, and he checks it roughly twice a month.

You Modular guys suck.

Id like to help, but i dont have much knowledge about the modulars to this point. Put a 5.0 in it. No jp.

Pull a motor outta a wrecked one. Hell with it. Im pretty sure a rebuild wont be cheap, depending on the damaged components. A short block sure as hell wont be cheap unless it has mileage on it, say out of something wrecked. Swapping to a 32 valve...well you got me there, i dont feel like doin the research. Best 32 valve swap i made occured Aug. 16.
