What are the advantages over the other high flow cats? I know they're shorter, but what else? Someone told me that they're more like resonators than a cat? The main reason I'm looking into them is because it'll be the perfect length for what I need.

How is this like a resonator? It's a cat.. Resonators don't have catalytic cores inside..
You should talk to people who know what they're talking about.. I wouldn't expect them to work as well as a larger cat, because of the probably smaller core size, but they should work OK.
