Default what ecu? ls/vtec....

hey i was just wondering what ecu to use on my ls/vtec its a b16 head so would a b16 ecu work or am i gonna have to get one custom made for my setup? any help would be appreciated thanks...

P28 if your car is OBD1, and you should get it chipped and tuned while you're at it.

You could also use a OBD1 P30, PW0 or PR3, but on any of those you'll have to get the knock sensor disabled in the ECU program when it gets chipped. They're actually the exact same ECUs as a P28, but with a knock sensor interface board inside.

Look around, there are usually a few chipping threads every week/month. There are a few good local people still around I believe.
I did chipping for a few years but I'm out of state now for school and I don't mess with Honda stuff any more..
