The wheels sit pretty far back on eclipses, like behind the front bumper, so when the car goes down over bumps and such, the car "pivots" on the front tires, and that added length in front of the wheels makes scraping more of a problem. My friend has one and didn't even lower the car much, he's had a lot of issues WITHOUT a lip spoiler in the front. He's got 18s.
