This is what you should do. Show the banks proof that you were in boot camp and that you tried setting up the auto pay thing, and they can remove the black mark on your report. Or just go to Navy Fed or USAA and probably get approved in minutes.

 

Most CC Companies will work with you. You just have to call.

got the lowdown on whats going on.

1) I checked my credit report and had a derogatory comment from freakin Sentara hospital when they billed me at the wrong address instead of my insurance company. (yeah i was not notified for nearly a year so thats what messed up my credit)

2) called sentara and they said that they should have taken it off already but since they didn't it was going take 30 days for it to disappear.

3) my conclusion i guess is that i'm just SOL for the next 30 days.
