I buy Infinity and Polk because they have a good reputation, or at least I thought they did.

I cant think of something better, at least not any mainstream brand.

What brands should I be looking at?

I spent 6-700 on my system. I just bought good stuff. one 10" Type R is more than plenty at 500 watts rms. And a kickass headunit.

those crystals are just plain awesome for the price but i am very biased since i've installed my cdt's

 

my low end alpine is the only radio that want skip in my car,works well for me.

you should really audition the hd's ... just simply amazing repsonse and reproduction

 

i paid 100 for my amp eveything else was free...my job has its perks
