But won't get it since it will be a GTO though.
Oh and if it's weighing 3800 w/IRS and w/LS2 rated @400hp it's going to be just like a GTO as far as times go. Stock should be low-mid 13's right there with the 05-07 GT's.

Camaro=Chevrolet, GTO=Pontiac
If you mean the GTO style like I have I know this, they made the last one a month or so ago I believe. But supposedly the Pontiac version of the Camaro will be called GTO.

It's a mullet, not a mullit. And the bird is ugly and outdated. It was fine at the time, but so was a lot of really ugly fashions and cars. Let it die.

It's really going to weigh 3800lbs? That's fucking heavy....
What other cars use the Zeta Platform? How do we know it'll really weigh that much?
Anyway, there seems to be a lot of people on different boards freaking about about whether it'll be the Firebird or the GTO....who the hell cares. A name is a name, they could call it the "Vaginal Itch" and it'd still be the same car, just debadge the motherfucker.
I think they'll put in an LS7, albeit probably in the current 505hp form (uprated 550hp version hitting Z06 in the next couple years according to Autoweek).
The 'vette will also almost certainly be getting the 600-700hp "Blue Devil" variant in 2009-ish, putting a top-tier vette into six-figure territory and well outside the range of any factory hotrod Camaro.
