I'll snap some interior shots when I get a chance... need to get the vette out to Gary's shop in Suffolk so I can start working on that. Then the Panoz goes on jacks to get a detailed look over.

Ahhh yeah... rollin.

Yes... I know people are stupid, but the few quotes yesterday were enough to make me want to share.
So no tuning???? You need some aftermarket management, and that's a great engine for it because it's so old. I mean..well known.. Let the spending begin!!

^ NO!!! No spending... anti-spending is the point of getting this car. The car is tunable w/ a chip like any other 5.0 poopstang.

I was driving a cobalt so he probably didn't recognize me.

Don't know if you're already aware of this but the stock rev limit is 6250 rpm but the stock motor stops making good power past about 5000.

That's not very fun. Where's the power peak (and torque peak)?

Great... has all the necessary mods to tow: 1. K&N CAI w/ PCM4Less towing tune, 2. B&M auxillary trans cooler (ties into return line of factory one), 3. Valley inertia switch trailer brake controller (trailer has brakes on both axles), 4. Air lift ride control helper bags, 5. Equalizer load distribution hitch w/ sway control. I tows my 3100lb vette w/ a box full of tools and a bed full of fuel/tires just fine. Towing the 2500lb race car was simple.

Yeah I knew that... maybe they just meant the shift indicator on the tach is set at 5400rpms (it is), but the limiter might be the oem one. Yeah motor runs out of breath over 5000.
