the head is almost done, lots of new stuff... solid lifter conversion, 9200rpm redline, sodium filled valves, and all that jive...
cant decided on what rods.... pauter or dahlback.
either way, im going for a high compression setup no nitrous, aiming for 600wheel... aka terry boostfed status.
as for the dsm guy... why would he want to run me? i only run 13's... ill run from a roll
... i wont have anything for him from a stop unless we run at the track when im on slicks.

What is the thickness of your stock rod?
You truly unloaded in 3rd gear.

Rod shear just shows you how badly you need forged rods.. maybe ones that have a little more "meat" to them. Everything else looks alright, besides the block. Just seems to me that the rod failed, not detonation.
