i sat in an srt-4 once, i felt like the car was going to fall apart when i shut the door. there is a lot of "cheap" interior pieces, just not what i would want out of a car... but for cheap easy power its perfect, parts are a dime a dozen, inexpensive, and you can make decent power with them

- all in all it depends on what it is you are looking for out of your ride? quality or speed?

answer that question and you will be set

I think they are a great bang for the buck and really perform well. The looks aren't bad, tastefully done. It's the FWD four door that kills me.

funny cars, alot of the owners attempt to mask the feminine look with headlight tape

love mine also. i have 60,000 miles, its daily driven, i live in hampton and drive to and from MIR for test and tune during the season. i've had no problems what so ever with it.

but, fwd does suck when you make over 200 hp imo. and no cruise control kinda sucks also.

and i dont understand what is so bad about having manual windows in the back. i dont sit back there, and my 7 year old has no problem rolling down the window the "old fashion way" when he sits back there.
people are lazy now days, how much effort does it really take?

The point isn't about being lazy at all. Why put automatic windows in the front and manual in the back?? You don't see cars with rims on the front and hubcaps on the back do you?? Is Dodge that cheap?? I don't think so, so that is just retarded. Even basic stripped models of cars now days are starting to go with automatic everything. Not saying the car is shit cause of it but come on.

No cruise control and manual windows in the back? I never knew that. That's sure not helping me like them any more. I like cars with decent build quality.

I have a 04 WRX and my GF has an 06 Impreza, the Impreza is probably one of the best handling sub-$25k cars I've ever driven. I love driving her car when I'm not driving mine, it's just a beautiful platform.. My WRX is obviously a better handler, but I can't believe the handling for the money with the base Impreza.
I definitely can't say the same about Lancers and Neons, the chassis are complete crap. I'd like to drive the new Lancer though, just for giggles.
