Ya I was reading up on it on the Hondata page, dam thats a lot of mods & little shit you gotta get to convert it. I might as well go with AEM, unless your a Hondata fanatic.

I was looking at his web site & saw some dyno reading. When you have a boosted honda, doesn't your A/F ratio has to be around the 11.2-11.9 field to be safe? Most of his tune was in the 12.1-12.4. What is a safe a/f reading???

yeah it was the tuner for sure. but what i meant to say was...just b/c hondata is a name brand and it costs a lot of money doesn't make it better than uberdata/crome. why pay for the software when you can get the same software just without the name or blue box for free?

Not only is it a name brand and costs alot, but it also has a long history in the Import Market compared to Uber/Chrome. You get what you pay for.

I guess its kind of like Why get Volks or Works, when you can get Rota for half that price hahaha & they look the same.
But the extra $$ your paying, your getting the quality out of it.

Ya, I hear ya. I'm a hondata fanatic and was looking into it when I was first boosted with the Vortech. But since nothing was out, I went with AEM EMS. Even now, since the Hondata is more expensive than the AEM EMS, and requires more to it (i.e. DC5 ECU), for my S2000, I would only use AEM EMS and any other honda for under $30000 sticker price, Hondata.

NO NO NO, you can't compare software to wheels. knock-off wheels are made from cheaper materials. there is a huge difference b/w works and rotas.

i've had both hondata and uberdata...they are exactly the same minus the blue box (which just restricts the features you didn't pay for)

Then it's safe to say ...

Uberdata = for the budget minded
Hondata = who don't mind dropping a dime on a company with a good track record

low/mid 11s in boost. not in boost anything is fine

basically for driving you want 14.7-15.0, then when you hit boost you want it to lean out to 11.3-12.0
