You get what you pay for.

If hondata made something for my car when I picked up my AEM EMS, I woulda went Hondata for my turbo miata.

boost takes 15 minutes to set up. traction control is the only thing that is really tricky at all IMO. It can be quite a bitch

For a honda there's no reason to get a AEM though. Hondata S300 does everything a honda needs

Exactly. I personally would get something that you can tune with yourself. That way you have the choice to either tune it yourself or get someone else to tune it for you and they wont need any burner or fancy software to do it.

I have S200 and have not once had a problem, i plan on getting S300 so i can tune my car myself.
to me it just sounds like they had or used a shit tuner. There is no difference between the 3, since the two rip off hondata. more or less they had a shit tune and blamed it on the software instead of the tuner.

only thing AEM really has over hondata is better datalogging, boost comp tuning, and a specific traction control function. Hondata can do VSS vs boost, multiple step rev limiters, full map tuning, etc.. what do you need that hondata can't do? Remember on a honda you gotta change triggers and such to make AEM work, it's a lot more of a pain in the ass than a supra or DSM where you can just solder 3 wires and plug it in and fire it up

Didn't Hondata just release Kpro for the S2000. But for the price your paying for it, I guess might as well go with AEM.
