Yeah, i totally agree on that. Thats exactly how i do it, if you dont when you wet sand your final coat of clear with bigger flake you wet sand the color right off the flake. I just dont apply that many quotes of paint.

Tiki, yeah i painted sungs car. I need to do his damn lip he's been buggin me about for tha past 6months lol.

Here's a paint question...I know they have tinted clearcoats but do they have on that would just basically make the paint darker? I'd consider doing that to my S2000 if I keep it....just make it a really dark gunmetal color. since the originator of this thread is a dick I don't feel bad jacking it.....

I could revert back to highschool and call you a faggot and fill this thread up with pointless profanity just because I disagree with your opinion but I graduated from highschool a long time ago so I wont..............

So lets get this straight....... I was not asking nor looking for paint advice in the first place I was just simply asking what the general opinion was on flake v.s pearl (i.e whether people preferred flake over pearl or vice versa) and if anyone knew of a place that sold purple flake incase I decided to use flake. If I wanted free advice I would ask my boss who owns his own body shop and has been painting for 30 years+. Also Nates95Accord never offered to let me borrow his paint gun he was talking to broncomx. The only reason I jumped on the kid was because he took it upon himself to give advice that was not asked for and then in doing so acted arrogant about it. I was just pointing out that he was wrong in his statement that " you want your flake to be the last thing that’s applied" because in some cases that isn’t true. In my case I was considering using kandy uk10 by house of colors which is basically like a colored clear which in this case would be used over top of the flake or pearl to give it a different effect. But as someone said before different people paint different ways.

Xiphoid seriously, shut up and go read the first few posts... He answered your question, he may have added more in, but all in all he answered it.

You should have just said "Thanks" and left it, he was never a dick until you came back as one. You are in the wrong and if you can't see that you are one ignorant ass.

they offer a purple flake in two sizes only .008 and .015.
End. Take your attitude elsewhere.
