Evo vs. STI
I don't see why an Evo can't be a daily? Learn to live with 200-220 miles to the tank and move on with life. Or get a reflash to lean out the rich stock tune to increase power and gas mileage a bit.

simply put EVO would be my choice, and it's not just based on this video but from exsperience with both

dude.. your 18.... save the money
racing people on the street shouldn't be a priority.... college, girls, buying your own place, ... those should be at the top of the list.

I think he said it best...being I work at a shop (not because I own a subaru) I say that the STi is a better car to own...
if you were looking strictly for a toy and downtime/repair bills weren't a problem, than the evo...
if they are both staying bone stock...who has the best warranty

i was in your situation at one time though, i had a quick car that i didnt want to pour money into and still be slow. so i saved a lot of money and bought a good platform for modifying and paid for it cash
just wait till you can afford a nicer car, till then dont mess with the civic too much
You probably need to learn a little bit about cars first. Its best to start with a slow car and have no choice but to modify it.. By then, you know enough about cars to make an educated decision on your needs for an automobile..
And by that time, you'll realize that stock cars aren't fast no matter what you buy until you are ready to shell out the money that would normally create a monster from an ordinary car for a crowd pleaser with mediocre power for the expense..
