Thats what I get for being a Honda driver...
everything on them has to be swapped out and changed...
part of the beauty of DSM ownership... you get to use the motor your car came with, up to 500hp and only slight engine work to go past that

I heard that it is possible to double the stock hp with just bolt-ons...dont even open the engine...does that include no head work?? I know head work makes a big ass diff.

drivetrain is not BS.. teh synchros will die over time yes if you drive retarded 100% of the time.. the drivetrain will take a lot of power... remember the stress of AWD... the trannies are strong but the synchros die.. so make a friend that does trannies and replace them when they get bad (not often, will probably only happen once under your ownership) cheap to fix... the clutch stock won't take more than 250hp before it starts to burn... you can make 500hp or so on the stock engine.... i'd say if you drive it regularly then don't go above 450 on the stock block.... change only the rods and pistons and the sky is the limit..

as for bolt ons.. it depends waht you consider bolt ons... i was beating LT1s with $700 in performance... LS1s would still take me at that point though... so that gives you an idea.. that was full exhaust, intake, and a boost controller, and boost guage..

Hmmm...What about a VR4 Galant AWD? Good or no? Sleeper or is it well known?

if you can find one i say go for it...still has 4g63, so tuning and aftermarket support will not be a problem, and it's hella sleeper...i doubt the average import driver even knows they exist...

think of it as a 1G AWD DSM disguised as a galant... because that is exactly what it is..
