What about the siffness of the springs. Stiffer rear than front? What kind of suspension system works great for drag/street? Also, any good exhausts for them?

hard up front to rid wheel hop up there when the power goes to the back.
I run skunk coil overs up front with stock springs/shocks in the back and I am completely satisfied.
I might even go back to a stif set of springs up front to create more travel which should help keep the fronts planted better as it comes up. coil overs are shorter than springs and won't push the wheels down as much as springs, i believe.
As for ride height the more power you can transfer to the back the better it should hook. I try to keep the front slightly lower so that when it drops back the car should be a little lower in the back. If it drops to much wheel spin up front gets worse to little the back will spin more.
I kinda think the stock setup is probably gonna be best.

That site doesn't have anything except intake manifolds and some filters.

i think Ian was trying to say ET motorsports could get you a motor.. you'd have to call them though. what do you want a j-spec motor for anyways? you buying one without a motor?

Nah, just looking at where to get to know what the prices would be. Would I be better off just staying with the USDM motor?

the motors are the same.... all 1G engines are "JDM" in a way.. they were all made in japan and shipped here. the 1G motor is identical to the "JDM" motor, unless you get teh motor from an EVOIII, and then the only difference is 550cc injectors and a 16G turbo that are attached to it... the 2G motors are also the same, only with higher compression, and are american made... for a comparison of DSM engines check the tech section of www.vadsm.com
