I agree 100%. Some people dont under stand just cause people make 400+ HP on stock internal is that it will last a long time taking the abuse but they do not if they have high milage.

FAIL.

What do you consider high mileage with too much power? How about 100,000 miles and 600+whp every weekend?

It's all about maintenance and tuning, and properly setting up the vehicle.

I do not agree with that. I ran 30 lbs on a sc61 on my daily with stock motor besides arp headstuds and a cometic and put 15000 miles on the car in that form and never hurt the motor. There are plenty of cars in the 757 that can vouch for my car.

I agree. Last year I tuned a customers' car to 603whp on the stock bottom end 4G63 in his Eclipse. After a year of weekly weekend beating, we diagnosed the motor as showing zero wear. Everything checked out perfect. So we're looking to push that stock motor even further this year, going for the 650-700 range on stock bottom end

The stock 4g63 block will hold quite a bit, my 7-bolt was stout, never showed signs of crankwalk either.
