Default Breaking in a fuilly rebuilt motor

What kind of oil should you use when breaking in a new rebuilt motor? Does it matter? Motor is a honda by the way. I heard not to use synthetic, but never any specific conventional oil weight.

yeah you don't want to use oil that has detergents. you should use a magnetic oil plug bc you will get shavings.

non synthetic cheap shit. I just got done breaking mine in and used advanced brand 10w 30. Changed the oil every 100 miles after the heat cycle.

20 people will tell you 20 different ways to do it. In boost , no boost, 3k redline, 6k redline.... builders are different.

i broke mine in hard. varying the revs. used mobil clean 5000 threw break it up til now. its non detergent and non synthetic and runs great. just make sure u change it at ur XXmiles intervals. and use a magnetic drain plug. so far im 9,500miles on a fresh build and no problems!!
