huge waste of money. please don't. i had one, take my word for it. hondas already don't make much torque, and that .2 liters of displacement is a very noticable difference. i went form a c5 to a b16b in a lighter car and it was soooooo much slower when accelerating.

i'm telling you, if you get a b16 and stay n/a you will regret it.

what is the best platform for a good decent price....brad keeps telling me GSR's are overrated

 

im your good buddy so im telling you what i would do, i just prefer the b16 because of alot of things ive read. its the platform i choose because of specific differences. GSR's arent 'bad' by any reason...im just recommending the b16. your driving a SOHC vtec, and in any respect a DOHC is going to be a kick in the pants.

 

you should go by more than just one persons opinion, especially if thats what they wanna do to their own car...ive ridden in a b16 turbo crx running 8 lbs and a jdm gsr crx na, the .2 makes much more of a difference than you think...

Since your gonna have the money, you have to ask yourself whats holding you back from the b18c1? I'd have to vote against the b16...

 

well, for one thing, money....a gsr is considerably more. im very impressionable and impulsive. those are two bad combinations. i got about 9months though. im gona talk to chezkers, his b16 hatch was badass

 

I would also go with a Gsr motor.
