i'm still a total noob as far as bmw's are concerned...
there is no difference, but if you are buying a used older model, why not try and get the latest year possible.

Thanks for the input guys. I picked up my 323ci on Friday and I love it so far! It is the coupe model w/ sport package and I think updated steering wheel?? My friend informed me that the steering wheel only came in 01 models and I just got lucky w/ a 00 model. It is in pristine condition and I do mean pristine! I could not find but 2 spots on the paint where the clear coat might have been chipped and the interior is spotless! It even stills has the plastic cover over the factory floormats which doesn't even have any sign of wear at all! I guess it's because the car only has 12k mi and has always been garage kept under a cover. Owner informed me that the car has never seen snow or rain and he cleans and waxes the car himself. I'll try to get pix up when wheather gets a lil better.

I hope that's some sort of joke, lol.

If you want a tank of a German car, get a W126 Diesel.

HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA

Audis throw up lights on the dash like its their job....plus they are made by VW....poop shit....alll cars breakdown...and they wont if you keep up with them....preventative maintenance...most people dont do it cause they think the dealership will really tell them....especially when they are ignorant rich people who go to BMW, MB,...Audi is different its less rich people who are smarter(rich hippies)....

I would buy a e30 EvoIII...the real tuners and track car....best all around car...but there were only a handful made....the e36 328i/is is the best all around bimmer out there...besides buying a new one....the e46 has problems and the e46 M3 is too expensive and you should get a 335i instead of that....but you new coupe should suffice....you will be happy and continue to be happy....keep up the maintenance and the car will last forever...also do you oil changes every 3k and change your belts and fluid often....youll be straight...
