, you got off on a technicality, not everyone will be so lucky. If he has a Virginia license the judge has access to it right there on the computer screen.

i HIGHLY DOUBT you'll get jail time...
I got a 86 in a 45, payed a fine, did 86hr's community service, and had my liscense takin away for 30 days because of clear driving record. I had 6months but the judge suspended 5.

heres my story.... i got paced... doing 70 on va beach blvd. I got my car calibrated and it ended up beein 7 mph off so i was like ... werd now its under reckless.... yeah well... the judge didnt give a shit.(she was like ...unless its 25mph off dont show me.) she gave me the day in jail,50 hours and probation on my drivin record and police record untill dec. and my previous record is clean.

I go to court tomorrow in chesterfield county for 112 in a 65. I am 17 so I will let you know how it turns out. I am guessing on 6 month lost license or until i turn 18 in september, a fine of about 100-500 dollars and a weeeknd of community service.,

naw i wont loose it till i am 21. My car was off calibration anyway but I sold it before I could have it checked. I have so many good things going in to court tomorrow I wont get hit that hard but anything isnt worth it for the minute of driving time it takes to get pulled. do not speed anywhere before you have to learn the hard way

Dude, you were doing 112 mph. You weren't doing 10 over. At this point, I hope you lose your license because you are a moron and I don't wanna have to be driving on the same road as you.

thanks everyone for posting your input. greatly appreciated...i decided im just gonna go to court without a lawyer plead guilty and leave the rest up to the judge....you do the crime you do the time...nuff said. i learned from my mistake...
