Amp wiring for 97 Expy
I'm looking to install an amp in my 97 expedition and I want to use my stock receiver to save some money.
Does anyone know what wires go to what on my new amp (ie remote, ground, + and -)? The stock amp just has a plug that goes into it.
edit: also, what kind of box do yall like better, a ported or bandpass?

You need to bypass the stock amp. On the back of your radio, I THINK there is a second plug that you do not need to use. These wires go to the amp.
Your new amp needs +12V, fused from the battery, ground (chassis), and a remote wire. This should be a low amperage +12v switched
