Where to buy an engine
I did a search and didn't come up with an answer I'm looking for. I've never bought a new/rebuilt engine before.
The engine in my sister's 96 Accord LX crapped out and I'd thought it'd be better just to replace the engine rather than buy a new car. What i'm looking for is the same exact engine, rebuilt, from a company that sells engines - and not another dragva member.
Again ive never bought one so what would I expect in terms of shipping it here and how, etc.
The car itself is in my parents driveway, my dad is the one who diagnosed that the engine itself was bad, so i'm not totally sure whats wrong with it. But he says he'd rather buy a new one than try and fix this, seeing its close to 130k, and he's assigned me the task to find one and install it.
edit: anywhere local is a good option as well

Re: Where to buy an engine
I've ordered through soko before (www.soko.com)
The price was decent, engine was just as described, it arrived quickly and had a 6 months warranty.
