You all can debate like men and give advice based on personal experience, thats what blackout did.
i never claimed to be an expert on anything, was just offering my opinion. i know a little about a lot, and if i don't know it 100% i'll be the first to tell you and consistently advise you to do your own research, don't ever take anyone's word for it unless it's a completely reliable source. just trying to help out.

that being said, i could probably tone down the negativity at times. i don't mind a debate at all, but if i wanted to argue and try to see who could come up with the better insult i'd start up some shit in spo. and it seems like this board's fuse continues to grow shorter as far as arguments go.

I think the issue was that you stated you didn't like the car, but didn't offer many reason's why other than that you hadn't personally seen any fast ones (there are) or heard if they handled well (they do). As owners of the cars, it's human nature to get a bit defensive (yes, some took it too far IMO). I'm sure if I got on a thread and talked about how I heard E36 M3's were very unreliable and that I'd never seen a fast one, many M3 owners would be on here defending their cars as well. Anyway, I was just trying to point out some of the reasons why you may not see many at the track. I understand it was your opinion, so I won't push the issue anymore.

Alphaq1888 - if you have any questions about MR2's, I'd be happy to try and answer as best I can. They're very capable cars and would make a very good platform for a track car or a decent drag car IMO. The engine can handle lots of power, they handle well, stock brakes are very good, they're light, etc. Only big downside is they're hard to find. Good luck in your car search, whatever you choose.
