240 guys (mainly Greaser)
Im setting out plans to start on my newst car(95 240sx). I know that if i plan it out first i will have a better chance of actually getting it done. I would like to do something diffrent then what alot of ppl do aka SR20DET swap and RB25DET. Im leaning towards rebuild my KA motor and going the route of forged internals and a hella load of boost. Realisticly is this could this be done. I by no means wish to dump loads of money into the project only to have my ass handed to me by some guy who just swaped in a SR and through on a bigger turbo.
Seeing as we have alot of knowledgeable 240 guys on here im assuming someone has some answers for me or could at least refer me to somewhere where i can find the answers. I was told that Greaser built a rather beast KA motor so maybe hell be nice enough to school me in the KA arts. Any suggestions or critisism(sp) is welcomed. Thxs

Do a CA18, those aren't really common swaps in the US I don't think.. Baby brother to the SR20 with some minor differences..

I know of an individual selling a motor and turbo setup built by me that did 360rwhp @15psi. motor can do 20psi.
but yes do a kat. You'll need to do pistons at very least. rods will handle 400 maybe more rwhp. no more than that.
look into doing engine management. maybe a greddy emanage or full standalone. i have alot of experience with the TEC 2 and TEC 3 setups. i can get them setup in less than 30 mins or so.

I put in another vote for doing a KAT.
