01 integra wiring harness problem
I need help! just recently bought a jdm obd2 b18b1 and im swapping it into an 01 ls integra with a usdm harness. The usdm harness has a connection for the crank angle sensor but the jdm motor does not have one. How can i go about bypassing this sensor or do i need to have this sensor for the car to run correctly? Thanks for any input

Re: 01 integra wiring harness problem
It's not a crank angle sensor, it's a crank fluctuation sensor. The crank angle sensor is still in the distributor just like all other Hondas.
Because the sensor depends on the ECU, if you use the JDM ECU it won't look for the sensor. There are also ways to bypass it by jumping the crank fluctuation and crank angle sensor signals together. Google "crank fluctuation bypass" or something like that and you'll get some methods.
