No you missed it again buddy, not a "ricer" I'm talking about the "race car" driver, the guy likely to post on this site. That guy that honestly has that nice swap or turbo or whatever, but thinks he can rev me to death or he's hotter than me because his BOV just sounded off. All I'm saying is respect the effort on the other side of the fence, I don't know how to quote old post but I've heard it said here that a raggedy "hacked up bumper for more air flow" civic with a built engine is better/more desireable than one with thousands of dollars of body work and trick everything and only a D16. If that's the collective attitude here and you must have swap/turbo/ push 13's to validate you car/ effort, then I will bow out gracefully and go back to my own forum, as I'm not built for the back forth and people trying to pick the posts apart rather than accept a point of view. Thanks for your time Dragva see you on the streets, I'll be the one that looks good and is going the speed limit to make sure you see me.

So exactly why do you spend all of your money to make a turd "look fast"? All the crap that you are putting on your car to make it "look fast" in all honestly makes it "look fucktarded". No one gives a shit about your big wing or fart can, that's why they are laughing at you. Stop being a poser, it's just not healthy.

If its of any consolation to you, I agree with you, Fast cars are cool, but so are show cars.

I have respect for people who put time and effort into anything. But the keyword is effort. I have seen numerous cars at car shows that put tons of time into, but the effort looks half assed and extremely tacky. IMO ricer is just a general term for tacky. Tacky = bad. Anyone with taste can have a very nice car, it might not be fast. But it can be very tastefully done up for shows. And the general concesus is that a lot of the show cars are just "trying to look fast" ... and in the eyes of the die hard race fans out there thats psuedo-poser of them. I dunno. I'll be the first one to notice a show car that has nicely done paint, clean lines, and not just a bunch of 2 color interior and shit.

I use the term ricer really mockingly. If i'm out in public with a bunch of car shows I call everyone I know a ricer that has a import. 100% jokingly. so. the term is loosing its appeal to me honestly. I'm gonna start a new one, that is not "racial" by nature and is just a synonym for Tacky. =]

These are my opinions, and I think the definition of rice is just that. A person's opinion.

Tastefully done is also a key word. I think anything that looks clean wouldn't be 'rice'.

Sounds like you have a nice ride, post up some pics and let's see!
Stickers, pep boy exhaust tips, L.E.D.'s, altezzas, dooky azz springs...etc.
