Re: V8 swapped Conquest
Attempted to contact the guys at CIN. Havent heard anything yet. I have been searchng far and wide for info. Im thinking a 240 would be 10 times easier to swap. This is going to take me a long time.

Re: V8 swapped Conquest
No luck with the guys at CIN. I am going to go with a Ford 302. I know I will catch hell about it, but it's in my budget. I close on my house the 29th. Shortly after I will start tearing the Conquest down. I guess I will start a build thread then.
Should be a fun street car. Maybe down the line I will go LSx. I was also thinking about a Cobra motor. I love roots style blowers.
Wish me luck.

Good luck. 302 Quest swaps are supposed to be pretty straightforward/easy.

Re: V8 swapped Conquest
Got my hands on a fresh 302 with mild head work and a baby cam. Carb and N02 soon. I move into my house next weekend. Hope to have the Quest there with an empty engine bay soon there after.

Cool. The 302 isn't a bad motor.

Yeah. It should be a fun street car. Something different for me anyway.

Re: V8 swapped Conquest
I have been keeping an eye on Corral. I would like to find some decent aluminum heads. I have also been looking at stroker kits. I was hoping I would be satisfied with just the swap.

Re: V8 swapped Conquest
but for what your doing trickflow twisted wedge heads would suffice
with a good set of roller rockers, and nice cam...would be a solid motor for that small car
