V8 swapped Conquest
I will be starting this project when I get settled into my house. I was wondering if anybody in the Norfolk/Hampton area has done this. I want to trade ideas.
I still havent decided on the powerplant. I know Chevy is cheap and easy, but I have a couple hookups on some Ford stuff. Thanks for any help. |

super nice guy...he swapped an ls1 into his conquest (before the ls1 craze) and it puts out 550 to the wheels |
Re: V8 swapped Conquest
there shouldnt even be a discussion on what to stick in it.

Re: V8 swapped Conquest
From what I understand a 5.0 is easier as far as less fabrication and it fits better. But if I were to do it I would want to go ls1. Got any 2.6 parts your gonna get rid of from it?

Re: V8 swapped Conquest
I figured everybody would say "LS1". I was wondering if there was anybody local that currently has one or used to have one. I am looking for some insider information.
A LS1 would be great. It will just take me that much longer to get the funds together for an EFI swap. Those bad boys are not cheap. |
