i do not hate american cars at all.

i just do not care for the dodge/mitsu engineering over the last few years.

id love to have an old dodge car. muscle car that is.

personally i just dont car for dodge or mitsu. no i wouldnt buy an evo if it were made by dodge alone. i wouldnt buy one now.

 

i didnt say the engine was mitsu. i said it looked like a backwards 420 which it does. but were also discussing a car that not even a year old. i understand its gonna have critics. but hopefully the Street Racing Technology line helps dodge step up their game with the help of mopar, looks to me like their off to a good start.

 

they need to give more money to their rally team. devolop better parts and then make them affordable to the general public.

that will help them keep up with the WRX better.

what they are doing now with their 40k budget is killing them because they cant make quality enough parts. but yes. they are on their way.

 

something has got to go wrong sooner or later, as i've said tons of times before, talk to me again after 40k and 60k miles, if all is still well, then congrats, they made a neon that isnt a piece of shit, if not, i told ya so

 

crumpler i will keep that in mind. im about to turn over 20k in a couple more months. but i give it to dodge for stepping their game up and by the way i read an article this morning that the cosworth is coming into production and ready for the road late next year. i didnt get from the aritcle weather it was UK or USA though. but i think we will all have a problem when that car gets released. 300hp AWD, and in the lower 2k pound range. and the RS version was 225 turbo/FWD.

 

those srt-4's have so much potential... Thats not the record so far though... Some guy in jersey is pushing 460whp on stock block with bigger injectors and a custom mapped ecu.....

 

the ecu comes with the injectors, does he have a new turbo? i have read on the other forums that injectors+ecu+new turbo= somewhere in the range of 360-450hp on stock motor. and all with less than 2 g's. we will know the stock motor's limit when people start blowing them up with those bigger turbo's. my warranty is more important.

 

he has a bigger turbo..i am pretty sure its a precision sc61....
