There's a lot bad information about the incident in here. Mostly just pieces of what actually happened, so...

The bike had previously been stopped by Va. beach PD. During that traffic stop...the bike actually stopped then the bike took off. A chase followed. That chase was terminated by Va. Beach PD, they basically have a no pursuit policy. All this occurred unknown to the State Police. Miles down the road after the first pursuit was terminated the bike comes by the Trooper at 132MPH. A chase ensues....and we know the result.

The tags were improperly displayed( tags did not belong on the bike) and his drivers license was suspended. Had he stayed stopped he would have maybe received two tickets( improper display and Driving suspended) and maybe had the bike towed.

A lot of the youth today have been brought up in a permissive environment where they don't have responsibilty for their actions.

I wasn't.

I agree with you, my dad would have said "That was a dumb fucking decision," and so would my friends. I, also, was raised knowing that i have to take responsibility for my actions (military family), but, while knowing that my friends and family wouldve said i was a dumbass for running, I also know that if i did die, i wouldve been missed. I'm pretty sure your dad wouldnt say "Eh, fuck 'em" and not grieve a little bit that his son just died, even if it was doing something stupid.

That really clears things up, and just makes me think even lesser of this douchebag. I honestly don't care if his friends and/or family call me mean or cold or whatever, but this guy has got to be one of the stupidest fucking people ever. He stopped, got away, and continued to go 132MPH on a small road? Would've ended a lot better if this guy hit a pole or something, then the person he hit wouldnt have such a headache with the car/hospital/etc. Whatever, one less dumbass off the streets.

Not my fucking problem.

See...here's the issue. Your boy was speeding and should have just pulled over and taken the ticket like a man. Let's say he was going 80 or so. He would have gotten a reckless and some of the new monster VA "fees."

Super. He's a couple of bucks lighter but hey...he's still among the functioning.

Instead he decides to run and put a whole bunch of people in danger to include the person that he finally hit. If he's dumb enough to make a decision like that then I don't need him around to make the decision that might injure me.

The only person I feel sorry for is the person that was minding their own business when they got hit.

If Ricky had been minding his own business and got hit by a car then that would be a tragedy.
Okay, so it isn't 'your problem', why not just shut your mouth then? Would it really have killed you to show some restraint and self control? Do you go to funerals too and talk shit? Of course not. If you have friend's that are mourning someone's death, do you say the same things? I think you're kinda sick in the head for getting on a message board and saying fucked up things about someone that is dead--especially in the presence of their friends.

Your friend could have taken me with him. He presented a hazard to himself and everyone in the road ergo it becomes my problem. It's like a guy walks into McDonalds and starts shooting. He made a decision to endanger the public

The only thing that makes me feel better is that he isn't in a hospital somewhere doing an impression of a vegetable

Why be so defensive? The guy, your friend, was being extremely stupid, extremely reckless, and, sorry to say it, but extremely inconsiderate and selfish. There are first hand accounts saying that the dude blasted through red lights without even slowing down. For all I know, that could've been my mom, dad, or brother going through that intersection, and he very well could've hit the drivers or passengers side door traveling at 130+ MPH, killing himself and critically, possibly fatally, wounding the people in the car, in this example my family members. So no, he dosen't need to shut his mouth. Like I've said, my condolences go to his family. Do I feel bad for him? Nope. Does it suck that hes dead? I guess so. Am I happy that there is one less asshole on the streets endangering the lives of me, people that I care about, and other innocent people? Yup.

Him running is why police don't usually give bikers a break. Him dying is an example to riders (I ride bikes every once in a while too, so im not trying to bash riders) that they are not invincible and that the bikes may be faster than the cruisers, but you cannot act fast enough in situations like this to save yourself. Condolences go out to you if you are a grieving friend of his, but NFC Stang is just saying that your boy was being an inconsiderate person when he ran. He was too worried about getting a ticket, going to jail, getting his bike towed (why were the numbers not matching anyway?) to care about the people he could have killed.

My dad would've organized a memorial ride so everyone could pop wheelies and bitch about "cagers" in my memory. Your dad sucks.
