People are saying shit like he deserved to die cause he was reckless. Alot of things are wreckless it doesnt mean they should all end in death. Its not cool when someone dies...even if it was because of there own dumb decision.

he chose running from the cops thats what caused the accident not the speeding before it... racings fine, but if you get caught then deal with that, don't run and make it 20 times worse.

There's a difference.

I've raced on the street but never in traffic....only when the road has been deserted and even then that was stupid.

However I've never run from the cops and I've never done 140 on Rosemount.

Ive been pulled over a few times and never once has the thought crossed my mind to take off.

It's sad but I hear quite a few bike riders laughing about running from the cops. Everytime one dies from running I chuckle to myself

i by no means am glad the guy is dead, i definitely feel bad for the family. but plain and simple his decision to run and go at an incredible speed down any road in vb is what killed him.

Ok so you were on 564 in no traffic at all? I find that hard to believe. (see thread https://www.vadriven.com/forums/blackhole-6/03-cobra-vs-gt500-202868/) I like most of your posts and "witty" comments, but sometimes you are just a cold heartless bastard. And I am sure I will get flamed or laughed at for saying this. A guy lost his life and you take pleasure in it? How? People make mistakes and do dumb things, but why not have some compassion? Maybe at least for the family and friends. There is no need to call this guy a "dumbass", it happened and is done. Thankfully he did not take anyone with him in his wreckless actions. And why not leave it at that.

Very true, not a smart decision. But one that he has taken the consequences for.

Your missing what Im saying. Im trying to point out that if you have ever raced on a public road, then you could end up with these same results.

I agree there is a difference. There is a big difference in a deserted road and va beach blvd, but you are also more likely to hurt someone else if your in a car then on a bike.

I would never run from the cops either. There is alot of shit I would never do, but I dont wish death on all those that dont make such wise choices. Its hard to feel sorry for someone when they are dumb enough to take their own life, but death is fucked up consiquence in almost any event. Im not sure I could feel sorry for him but Im not glad he died or think its funny. I do feel sorry for all he left behind.

This was a couple months back, but it's stories like this one that make me not feel bad for the rider. If you run from the cops then you deserve whatever happens to you, even if it means death.
