Radar detectors

A V1 is $200 i you buy used without v1.8 and even some V1 user swear by their v1.7s, so you're not finding on cheap unless you look hard.

Even though the STi is advanced than the V1, it still isn't upgradeable which in the long run saves you hundreds if you buy the V1.

the bel STi is brand new it hasnt been on the market long enough to warrent upgrades. Unlike the V1 all they have been doing is upgrading software leaving the heardware untouched. The V1 has been out for 10 years now.

also when you buy a used. V1 you cannot send it in under warrenty/upgrades.

The arrows are good yes. But you should slow down anyways when ever the detector detects radar in the area anyways, no matter which direction.

i know it's stupid question, but do you guys actually use radar detector in va? if so, how do you guys keep it hide from cops? i thought they can find out if we have radar detector or not.
