alright i don't post much but i just brought an 02 wrx and was tryin to find out some info as far as what mods i should do, if i need a turbo timer, etc....

Get a full exhuast (up-pipe, down-pipe and cat back). Also consider some suspension and better tires.

thanks fellas...i was actually thinkin of puttin an exhaust on 1st and a turbo timer was also high up on my list...but i just brought the car on tues. so i don't know shit as far what's the best maker to look at for aftermarket parts.

As far as the best exhaust, the biggest most straight-through shit is what you want.

i cut a 13.4 with a 2.0 60 foot. Than i got kicked off the track for no helmet. I've hit 1.8's easy. So 2 down low, is good for 4 up top. Thats a 13.0. My UTEC map was also all sorts of fucked up and because of the UTECs built in knock sensor whenever it detects detonation it dumps fuel and pulls timing, so as i'm going down the track my CEL was flashing and my car starts studdering. It would start pulling, sense detonation and than back off...than go again...than back it off. If you also wanted to get technical i was on 17's with a full interior, jack, spare tire and all that good shit.

so..with a good 60' and a professional tune so the run wasn't so damn choppy i can see a 12.9 or better.
