My car needs open heart surgery......
I'm looking for any advice or anyone knowing where i can locate me a motor for my corvette. It is a 87 corvette with a L98 motor and 4+3 tranny. My motor has a high end rod knock. If anyone can help me out let me know. Thanks

oh i would love to put a newer vette motor in it but unforcunitly my funds are limited. I'm tring to look for a good cheap alternative if anyone knows.

yank the motor and take it apart. drop the block off at a machine shop and let them rebuilt it. You'll save $ doing that.
Or buy a crat motor like a ZZ-3 and bolt your injection system back onto it, sell your aluminum heads to recoupe some costs.

I know you can get Jasper long blocks from Advance all day long for $400-$700 for a Chevy 350. You can look into that too. Core charge is usually around $250 so be prepared for that too.
