Welll.....The Car Is In Need Of A Heart Transplant......
As some of you may remember, at the last Pungo event I went limping home with my car sounding like a 57 Chevy. Well, it turns out my engine is shot. One of the valve retainers failed and caused a valve to shoot throught to the pistion and cause a whole lot of havoc.
Actually, the engine could be repaired, but by the time I spend the money to repair the engine, I might as well get a new one, which is what I am leaning towards right now.
Oh well, the thing that sucks the most is that I have a brand new set of wheels and tires with only two events on them sitting in my garage. With any luck I hope to be back out on the auto-x course by the end of the summer ....
Hell, i may even beat Jerry back !!

Should be within a month. It feels like I have been saying that for the last year, though. It is all done at Abacus, just needs to have Terry find the time. It took awhile because I had to keep upgrading everything.

BTW, your new motor is a 3.2L OBD I right? With all of the extra stuff that Abacus did for you, what chip will you be running, the same Jim C. 3.5 HFM/24# Injector one?

I got Stickly to burn a chip off the shelf. I would recommend that, espically if you go with schrick cams. My motor is done, ready for Terry to do final assembly. I just need to pick it up from Abcaus and get it to Terry. So I should beat you, after almost a years worth of waiting.
