ok.......this is what you do: remove the tint and bring it to you in court in a clear bag. Show the judge the tine and also take a picture of your car with the tint removed. He will drop the charges and you walk out with only paying the court fees.

 

and losing the $120+ for the tint...

this is why i dont roll with tint, that and I want everyone to see how hot I am.

i may be wrong, but if it in fact is registered/tagged/insured in a state that allows that dark of tint, then they can not ticket you....
i mean they can, cause cops do whatever the hell they want..
but legally i think your permitted if they dont know you live here...
i would go to court and fight it....but then again the ticket fine is probably so petty that its not wort taking off a day of work to go to court..
in fact thats why they give out the ticket in the first place....

WRONG. you can get a ticket in the state of VA no matter where your car is registered/tagged/insured to. And NO, that is not why tickets are given out

No one can tell you what the fine is exactly because it changes often and court fees are different in every city and they change even more often. Call the number or go to the court house.
