I have never ridden without them around here, any one have any experience with how bad the cops are about pulling you over for no front plate?

 

you will get pulled over. Put your plate on.

 

Same as any violation. It all depends on how lucky you are, some people go years and never get pulled and some people get pulled the same day. If your in Va beach, personally I wouldn't try it. Norfolk and you might be pretty much good to go, I've never been screwed with about anything on my car in Norfolk.

 

also if you go through a DUI checkpoint they are likely to ticket you for it.

ive never had a front plate on one of my vehicles. I got pulled over at the beach for being lowered and we went to the front of my car to show me where they measure and he didnt even say shit. I dont drive like an idiot though, so drawing attention has alot to do with it.

I do not rock the front plate either. Hell, I rocked a front Europlate for about 10 months before someone stole it in the Janaf parking lot.

 

Daily driver I have a front plate - the S2 I do not.

NADA is in process of proposing a bill to remove the requirement for a front plate. If it passes the State of Virginia will still charge the same amount for tags, yet will only have to make 1 plate. Which in turn makes more money for the state - which they are all for. So we'll see what happens with that one!

 

Havent had a front plate since I moved to VA. Never had any issues.
