Most of these caliber djs like to play at least 3 or more hours.
The reason why you won't find big name DJ's on Friday or Saturday night around here is because they these DJ's have residency at bigger clubs in bigger cities like D.C. where the scene is a lot better.

These thursday night gigs are like side jobs for them.

Also, no big time DJ's get on the turntables until after midnight anyways.
I've seen Oakey, PVD, Pete Tong, etc...up in D.C. and every single time they didn't get up on the turntables until about 1:00 am.

Cool Re: DJ Irene tonight in Norfolk

Went to the club and checked it out. First of all the facility it self was impressive. the lighting was good and service was great. Other then that one of the things that blew my mind was that they had performers that danced on the stage (get this) to real trance. and they looked good doing it. The music was GREAT. Very classy place. I would suggest if you like techno\trance. That was the closest thing to a club I've been to since I came to Virgina. Very nice place. Keep it up.

correctomundo, but they dont close down at 2:00 on a thursday, they usually go to 4 so give dj 3 to 4 hours playing time. Here in Norfolk its 2 hour set times which sucks!

anyways I won a free balcony for one night for me and 15 of my friends. I got it from giving a review on the email list. They are supposedly having a free appetizer tray and free gifts. Thinking about using next week for Micro..
