DJ Irene tonight in Norfolk
The place doesnt realy seem like a lot of druggies; just a whole lot of gay guys. It is def. the next wave and that sucks. I know they are letting anyone in now, beuacse they arnt gettin the numbers they wanted, but I dont like that they arnt inforcing the dress code. Me, my freinds and gay guys were just about the only ones dressed nice. Some gay guys were dancing around without there shirts on and came up in the bar section; it was pretty uncomfortable. But all in all; Premiere is a pretty sweet place for Norfolk.

well this is my first time going. Can the people there really dance or do they just jump around like there crazy? Also, there is no Dress code anymore? It sounds like a kick ass spot. I love ProTrance, and House.

There is quite a few people who just jump around out there. As far as I know thier dress code has been relaxed to, don't look like a scumbag.

In the profile, yes. Avatar, No.
To me a great dj takes a bunch of tracks and essentially 'tells a story'. By a story I mean a beginning, middle, and an epic end...of course with fillers. Listen to any Paul Van Dyk set.. Has a good beginning, builds up to a middle, brings it back up again. Using the tracks to get progessively more and more exciting to get people going. Track selection and long blends are an art within themselves. It takes a good dj to pick the right tracks to make the set into a rollercoaster...not simply throwing the needle on some hot track and letting it spin. I think some of the more serious people will agree with me on this one.
Went again last night; but there were only about 50 people there. It was rediculously dead. Ended up going to Scotty Quixx; a lot more people were there. On a good note, people were dressed nice. Maybe its just the Thursday being a college night, they just let anything go. My freinds that work there tell me saturday is the time to come. As long as I get in free ill probably check it out tonight after work.
