thats almost half of probably what you paid for the kit.
usually things that cost a lot to begin with cost a lot to put on....just what I think anyways ...hope it all works out for him though..recent issues with a mustang tuner on corral (a mustang board) who did a vortech install would make me ready and willing to pay more for quality work....

eh? utec issues?

more info...

aaaaannnndddd......that aint jumpin down your throat. i never said a price...i told him i need to look at it. thanks.

just look at what is involved in doing a install of any supercharger...much less on a lude.....

again, i reinereate to lemme look at it...and i will tell ya what i will do it for...i would rather not talk about it on the boards due to the nice rule about advertising. i am not a sponsor, so, i have no right to advertise my buisness....so i will no longer mention money.

if you would like, aim, pm or see me for more details.

He got it new and paid $3000 for it..
He drives silver lude with greddy front lip and wwrs sides, ww rear, volks rims, and it's not sportshift. he used to have mugen
front, but now he got oem front with greddy lip
I can install it as well, but he doesn't know about cars...
so i wanna get it installed properly and tuned right.
I don't wanna get blamed...
I've seen a guy blew his motor with jrsc untuned.

fc735 just told me that there's a dyno shop in salem...
do you guys know how much do they charge?
$ per run? or $ per hour?

i'm getting me a turbo kit in january as well...
i got sportshift ...sucks!!! my tranny acting weird already...

thanks for help guys...

I *heart* nick!

if nick can do on on a dohc v6, and fabricate it himself using his own supercharger...he can certaintly do it on a inline 4.

Nick Nick hes our man, if he cant do it...just give him some more time.

lol...I am not going to step on anyone's toes here. There are plenty of people who know a lot more than I on this board..but a bolt on supercharger kit that's already made sounds like a cinch to me. I've already fabricated a one of a kind supercharger, and 2 turbocharger systems on a transverse mounted V6 in a cramped engine bay...so bolting this thing on shouldn't push my skills. I've also installed a standalone and tuned it with success using my wideband.

so...anyhoo. I can't tune it; that's obviously done by a dyno...but if you really want me to look at it email me or something. Otherwise, if you feel more comfortable with an ASE certified mechanic doing it then ask Joey. I'm just not working now and don't value my labor that much..haha.

Nick
