not really.. obviously there is some work involved but if you're patient and have an array of tools and are somewhat mechanically inclined, shouldn't be anything you couldn't tackle. there are a lot of turbo kits available for that specific car too

It's pretty easy. The Street Source sales marshalls manifolds and they can pair you up with a turbo too. Pretty reasonably priced.

However you can also pick up a decent 1g gst/gsx for 2k and uder now.

16g-95gsx is an unknown quantity at this point

As others said, why even bother turboing a non turbo when you can pick up the turbo models for just a tad bit more. You'd wind up with a car that has a better resale value as well in the end anyway, let alone the possibilty of having awd.

i may be wrong on this one but i think the turbo engine has lower compression and better cooling channels to deal with the boost, should have a different grind on the cams aswell along with the manifolds and the ecu being programmed for boost. All the ones i've seen were just 4g63 though but i'm not huge into DSM's so there may be a different code for the n/a. If your gonna get an eclipse just get a GST or GSX if you can find one!

the NA engines are totally different, theyre 420a. same engines you might find in some neons if i'm not mistaken. definitely stick with a 4g63
