and again, the point isn't necessarily to be fast. putting a turbo might just be to get more power, but not necessarily to run a faster 1/4 mile. i didn't get a chance to talk to henry (i think that was his name) much, but maybe he wants a track car or a show car or a fun car or... yea you get the point...

And apparently only absolutely unstreetable cars should be considered right? I mean honestly who really cares about streetability right? Yep. I'm trying to give her a proper break-in before the boost goes back up. So right now I'm running a conservative 11psi and trying to take it easy.

 

what?? there are plenty of sr20s and dsms that own hondas allll the time. drag race, road race, autocross, drift ( ). and a purpse built awd turbo? which one? the wrx, the sti, the evo? stock, they all beat an rsx in everything. there is nothing upperhanded about fwd. and theres nothing unique about an rsx. YOUR ride is unique, because you built it. there is nothing unique about the rsx. they are everywhere. how many evos are at tech? how many stis? granted, rsx engines are siick. but how can you make a huge call out like this? the rsx is a very well made car, but it's not an evo-eater or an sti-eater.

 

Heh I'm surprised it took as long for there to be responses to this as it did. I didn't mean anything I said in a serious absolutist mentality. Part of it was just pokin a lil fun because I know all of you are fiercely devoted to your brand and model of car, and also because its normally the Hondas that get flamed, but kinda the point I was tryin to make, in a more colorful way of putting it, was that no matter what, he who has the biggest wallet can make the fastest car. obviously with the right investment and RSX can be made faster than an EVO, as is evident by the Swap meet held a lil while ago, at the same time the same could be said true for any other car.

Bottom Line: To each his own, we all love cars, expecially our own. I refuse to knock anyone's choice of car, unless they come to me talking like their own car is the be all end all, at which time I will try to broaden their horizons, and if that doesnt work ill progress to telling them why in my opinion their car sucks thats only in extreme cases with big "walk-on-water" egotists, I think all of you would agree that I'm a pretty chill guy to get along with.

 

i was about to say...when i met you at the car show last semester, this isn't the attitude you had then. but, yes, deepest pocket wins.
